I need to stop messing around on the internets so I can finish my hat and then make a pair of socks. I'm having this weird urge to knit socks. Could it be because the weather has been slightly cooler these past few days? I don't know, but I'm jonesing for some socks.
They'll have to be short socks: the only sock yarn I've got right now is one skein of Shibui. It's lovely, but I feel the socks will have to be wee.
I'm trying very hard not to think about the lone skein of Sockotta that's hanging out only a block from me at the yarn store. It's all nice and blue-grey . . . no! I will not purchase! I will knit with what I have!
I hope. Seriously, me. You're poor, and about to be unemployed as of Monday. No yarn!
