So I just baked a batch of very buttery lace cookies--the really flat thin kind that you bend around the handle of a wooden spoon to make a cute cylinder. And now, no matter how many times I wash my hands, they still feel buttery, and I can't bring myself to touch my knitting.
Maybe I'll put up the Christmas tree instead.
